12,000 Students: Praying for Coastal Carolina

Conway is a college town. About 12,000 students from across the Eastern United States call it home for a few formative years, and then most of them scatter.

That rhythm is exactly why we care about it.

The college years change trajectories

Donovan and Elizabeth met as students at Western Carolina University. Donovan later served as College and Discipleship Pastor at The Bridge Church in Cullowhee. They have watched, over and over, what happens when a student encounters Jesus during the college years: it does not just change four years, it changes a trajectory. And when that student graduates and moves, the impact moves with them.

A transient college town is not a ministry problem. It is a sending strategy.

Our mission includes the campus

Our mission is to be a fountain of life to our community and our campus. That word is in there on purpose. As students come back to school this fall, one of our core prayer requests is simple: gospel opportunities on campus.
